The Pre-Kindergarten program is open to children who are 4 years old on or before September 1.
Children continue to play and learn with peers through the use of age appropriate topics and materials. Self-confidence, social skills, and emotional intelligence are the primary goals.
Kindergarten readiness skills are highlighted, including early reading and math skills.
Academic goals are achieved through play, centers and the daily routine. Teachers work with individuals and small groups in the classroom and use a variety of materials to achieve individualized goals.
Through the I AM SPECIAL religion series, children learn about God and the world around them. Prayers are said upon arrival, before snack and at dismissal.
